Don’t waste your equity by leaving it in your home when you have debt!
Having equity in your home and carrying bad debt does not make any sense! Use the equity in your home to pay off bad debt and get ahead! Consider this; if the house prices in the GTA fall – you will have lost the opportunity to utilize that space to do something productive. 
Consolidate all of your bad debt, with very high interest, into one debt with manageable payments that save you money. Now; hopefully the prices do not take a dip and in that case your equity is sitting there not working for you. This is what most financially healthy people know that more financially ignorant people don’t – let your money work for you – use your equity to get ahead!
